Chugoku / Shikoku Region
The Chugoku Region consists with western part of Japan’s main island Honshu. It is usually divided into two region. One is heavily industrialized and urbanized Sanyo Region along the Seto Inland Sea coast and the other is a lot more rural Sanin Region along the Sea of Japan coast.
