What is the deadline for bookings?

We accept reservations via our homepage until 18:00 of the preceding day.

Also, please understand reservation might stop earlier in case the maximum number of seats is reached.

What are the payment methods?

You can choose between credit card payment and bank transfer.

Cancellation, change

What are the cancellation charges?

For amendments and cancellations charges apply as below:


Cancellation counting from day before departure:
2-7 days before… 30% of tour fee
Day before departure… 40% of tour fee
Day of departure… 50% of tour fee
No Show or cancellation after departure… 100% of tour fee

Is there a cancellation charge in case of no operation due to typhoon or similar?

No, cancellation charges do not apply.

In case of no operation we will give you a full refund. You might also change your tour to a different date, provided that there are enough vacant seats. In this case charges do not apply either.

How can I check if the tour gets cancelled due to an upcoming typhoon?

Please contact us via e-mail: hiphop@jumbotours.co.jp

If the tour gets cancelled due to typhoon, we will make a notice on our homepage until the preceding day.Also we send our guests E-mails informing about the cancellation of the tour.

Is there a cancellation charge in case of no operation due to typhoon or similar?

No, cancellation charges do not apply.

In case of no operation we will give you a full refund. You might also change your tour to a different date, provided that there are enough vacant seats. In this case charges do not apply either.

On the day of tour

Is there a toilet on the bus?

No, there is no toilet on the bus. Please use the facilities at each sightseeing spot.

After the tour can I leave the bus at another stop than where I boarded the bus in the morning?

Yes, you can leave the bus at any of the designated bus stops. The bus attendant will ask you where you want to leave the bus on the day of the tour.

Can I leave the tour at any other points during the tour?

Yes, you can leave the tour at other points as well, as long as it does not require a change of the route.

If you would like to leave the tour along the way please inform us upon booking or speak directly to the bus attendant. However, please be aware that by deciding to leave the tour early, we will not be able to refund the tour difference.

Is it possible to get a partial refund if I do not visit a certain sightseeing spot/admission facility included in the course?

No, bus tour is a package deal and partial refunds are not possible. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and hope for your understanding.

Can I board the bus from any other points than the designated bus stops?

No, boarding the bus from other points is not possible.

Will I have enough time to take my flight after the end of the tour?

Please make sure to have at least 2 hours of extra time after the scheduled end of the tour before booking.

Jumbo Tours does not bear responsibility for any missed flights.

Does the bus have any distinguishing features?

A course: Please look for a large green bus with the number plate “1981” and “JUMBO TOURS” lettering written on the side of the bus.
B course: Please look for a large blue bus with the number plate “1101” and “JUMBO TOURS” lettering written on the side of the bus.
C course: Please look for a large red bus with the number plate “1981” and “JUMBO TOURS” lettering written on the side of the bus.
*An alternate bus may be dispatched due to routine inspections, etc.

How and where can I board the bus tour?

Please be at the boarding point chosen at the time of the reservation at least 10 minutes prior to departure time.

Also note that the bus will _not_ stop to pick-up guests at any other boarding point other than the one chosen at the time of the tour reservation. If you would like to change your boarding point, we kindly ask you to contact us during the working hours and at least one day before the tour.

Will I be able to store large luggage?

Yes, large luggage like suitcases, baby strollers etc can be stored in the trunk of the bus.

If you want to store luggage please inform the bus attendant on the day of the tour. Also please kindly note we cannot store any valuables, please keep valuable items with you at all times.
