Terms and conditions of travel

*The following must be read and consented before an application is compleated.
*Tours are organized by Jumbo tours Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "JBT". )

An application

Reservations must be made by an application form and submitted to JBT.

Contract & Issuance of Contract Document

1. A contract will be concluded as soon as reservation is confirmed and an the application fee is paid.
2. As soon as the contract is concluded the Contract Document shall be issued to the traveler which mentions the itinerary. The contents of travel services, the travel fee and other conditions for the travel and matters concerning the responsibility of JBT.
(The scope of the travel services for which JBT assumes the obligation to make arrangement and manage the itinerary under an Agent-organized tour contract is according to what is mentioned in the Contract Document.)
3. The final payment shall be made by designated date.

Final Document

If it is not possible to mention the finalized itinerary or name of transportation or accommodation facilities in a Contract Document, after having issued the Contract Document mentioning the names of the accommodation facilities scheduled to be used and specific transportation facilities that are deemed important to be indicated, a document mentioning the final situation of these matters (hereinafter referred to as ＂Final Document＂) shall be issued by one day prior to the commencement of the travel (or the day of commencement of the travel in case the application for an Agent-organized tour contact has been made on or after the 10th day prior to the day preceding the date of commencement of travel.) For those individual travelers, travel document shall be taken as a Final Document.

What is included in the travel fee

The travel fee includes what is mentioned in the Contract Document, E.g. airfare, transportations, accommodation facilities, meals, sight-seeing, consumption tax and a handling fee etc.

What is excluded in the travel fee

The charge of any personal effects like a personal call, cleaning, and single occupancy charge, etc.

Special Compensation

Regardless of whether JBT is responsible or not, It shall pay a compensation and a solarium, the amounts of which are specified in advance, for specific damage which a traveler has incurred to his/her life, person or baggage while participating in an Agent-Organized Tour, in accordance with the provisions of the Special Compensation Rules in a separate document.

Other conditions

After the commencement of travel, no refund shall be made in situations when the traveler(s) forfeit travel services. E.g. Accommodation facilities, sight-seeing, meals, etc.

Notice of Condition

If JBT intends to cancel the tour, it shall inform the traveler that the travel will be canceled by 13th day prior to the day preceding the date of commencement of travel.

Exemption

If a traveler has incurred damage due to a natural disaster, a war, a riot, the suspension of the provision of travel services of transportation and accommodation facilities, etc., an order of a government or other public offices, or any other event in which JBT is unable to intervene, it shall not be responsible for compensation for the damage. Any other items shall be subject to the provisions of Standard Terms and Conditions of a Travel Contract.
